Disney’s adventures include friendly local tour guides who will show you around Tokyo’s canal system or who will show you how to cook Edokko and let you see your destination for yourself. Their selection is very selective with an on-site training course for Adventure Guides that work closely with the local experts so their trip runs smoothly.
Playful guides add that extra magic element to any trip that is worth reliving for everyone (even the kids). At Sacsayhuaman, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, an Inca citadel and ruins at the ancient Inca capital of Sacsayhuaman, one of our guides joked that it was constructed by an “inherently sexy woman”, which kids on our tour found hilarious! This trick entertained the kids without treating the adults like VIPS!

Adventures by Disney guides are concierge, tour guide and entertainer all in one. They know what families need, and they know just how to satisfy it whether it’s hot chocolate on the back of a long walk in London or umbrellas for the rare shower that happens while you’re trekking Peru – they know your family needs!
Adventure Guide guides are trained as storytellers, so they are special. The firm picks its best by audition (similar to the Harvard entrance exam). Each tour has at least 2 Adventure Guides – an American guide who stays with you during your trip and an expert of the destination they are visiting – who partner up with other local experts in their destination to create a sense of authenticity for your trip, and sometimes surprise you with extra special surprises along the way!
